Intensive Courses

During the intensive courses students and teachers from different universities within the network get together and work with a chosen theme.

These courses are sometimes developed in close cooperation with local industry, or they have a focus on intercultural or environmental aspects. This cooperation enables a dynamic interplay between the participants from the network and industry, and opens possibilities for future internships for the students. Upcoming Intensive Courses

  • Ecopreneurship – In the Baltic and Nordic Countries

    Buskerud, Norway. March 5th - 8th, 2012.
    The purpose of the course is to implement an intensive course on green entrepreneurship ("ecopreneurship"), for University students in the Baltic and Nordic countries.

Finished Intensive Courses

  • Opportunities and Obstacles in Communication

    During this meeting students from Baltic region worked together trying to find the way to protect the environment and what was the main concern – the Baltic Sea. Mariehamn, Aland Islands, 29 March - April 2 2011.

  • Nordic-Baltic Entrepreneurship - In Business and Society

    NBE 2010 is an intensive course in Entrepreneurship which was held at 8-12 March, 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. There was 46 participants – 46 students from nine schools.

  • Intensive course in Sustainable Logistics

    The Intensive course in Sustainable Logistics took place in Helsinki, 7-12th of September. Participants worked in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
